Organizers of this year’s Asian Games in Incheon will create a forest near the stadium to offset carbon emissions.
 
The 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee planted trees in the Asian Games Stadium in western Incheon Friday as the first step toward building the forest.
 
The forest will eventually cover seven-thousand-800 square meters and consist of over six-thousand trees.
 
In addition to the anti-carbon forest, the committee will also introduce the system to trade carbon emission rights.
