Brazilian media reported the Korean national soccer team to have solid teamwork and a strong ability to counterattack. 
 
Brazil’s daily newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo said the Korean national team prioritizes tight defense and ball possession and transitions quickly from defense to offense. It said the players have an excellent grasp on game tactics and possess explosive speed.
 
The paper also pointed out the Korean team relies too heavily on a few star players and struggles with tactics using all individual players.
 
It added, however, the enthusiastic support from the close to 60-thousand Koreans living in Brazil will be a big help to the South Korean team.
