A video clip promoting copyright protection will be posted on the Internet in South Korea and China.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on Friday that the promotional video comprised of scenes from ten South Korean soap operas will be released online from Saturday.

The video is titled “Copyright is Love” and was jointly produced by the ministry, the Korea Copyright Commission and Korea's three terrestrial broadcasting stations as part of efforts to raise public awareness on copyright issues.

The material will be shown on the ministry’s Web site and major Chinese Web sites such as Baidu and Tudou.

The video also sends a message on the importance of copyright protection, showing scenes from popular Korean dramas and hard-working drama staffs and actors shooting the dramas.
