S.Korea Ranks 55th in FIFA May Rankings

South Korea came in 55th in FIFA’s May rankings of global men's national football teams.

The point total remained the same as a month ago at 551, but Paraguay dropped from 54th into a three way tie with South Korea and Norway. As a result, South Korea moved up in the rankings by one slot. 

As for the three countries that South Korea will face in the first round of the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, Belgium was placed at 12th, while Russia came in 18th and Algeria 25th.  

Spain remained the highest ranked team, followed by Germany and Portugal.
