National Soccer Team to Begin Joint Training from May 12

The men's national football team that will represent South Korea in the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil will begin to assemble on May 12th.

The Korea Football Association said nine athletes out of the announced roster of 23, including Park Chu-young, Ki Sung-yueng, and Lee Chung-yong will initially get together for training at the National Football Center  in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, north of Seoul.

The other 14 athletes that including Kim Young-kwon in China, and Kwak Tae-hwi in Saudi Arabia will join the national squad shortly after.

To promote a sense of discipline as a national athlete, manager Hong Myung-bo has stipulated that the players enter the training facility in semi-formal wear.
