Museum to Exhibit Nine Returned Seals

Nine royal seals that were recently returned will be on display at the National Palace Museum of Korea starting this week.

The returned treasures include two of King Gojong's seals from around the time when the Korean Empire was first established.

The nine seals were returned to South Korea last month when President Barack Obama held a summit with President Park Geun-hye. The seals were taken out of the country by a U.S. Marine lieutenant during the Korean War.

The royal seals will be on display starting from this Tuesday to August 3.
