Winners of 33rd Sejong Cultural Awards Announced

This year's recipients of the Sejong Cultural Awards have been announced.
 
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said this year’s awardees are jazz singer Nah Youn-sun, Professor Lee Ik-sop from Seoul National University Emeritus and the announcers’ office of KBS. 
 
An award ceremony was held at the National Gugak Center on Wednesday.
 
The Sejong Cultural Awards were launched in 1982. The nominations are given to those promoting Korean culture in honor of King Sejong who created Hangul, the Korean alphabet.
