The third annual Toronto Korean Film Festival (TKFF) will open next week from May 27th to 31st.

Under the theme of “On the Fringe,” it will show various aspects of Korean society, which is often represented as entirely homogeneous.

“Aimless Bullet,” a Korean classic movie produced in 1961, will open up the festival.

Films produced in recent years, such as “Broken,” "Our Homeland," and "My Place" will also be displayed.

In the Korean Shorts Competition, eight short films selected out of 108 submissions will compete for best Korean short award, best Korean-Canadian short award and the audience choice award.
