Manager to Use Many Backup Players in Match Against Tunisia

Hong Myung-bo, manager of the South Korean men's national football team, says he plans to deploy many backup players in the upcoming friendly match against Tunisia.

The match, set for Wednesday at Seoul World Cup Stadium, would be the team’s final test at home before 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Hong told reporters on Tuesday that it would be inappropriate to expose too much tactical information to the country’s World Cup opponents, and it would be meaningless to win the game by revealing everything.

He will instead use the opportunity for the team's backup players to get experience prior to the World Cup.

In Brazil, Team Korea is in Group H, and will face Russia on June 18th, Algeria on the 23rd and Belgium on the 27th.
