S. Korean Women’s Taekwondo Team Wins 21st Asian Championships

South Korea’s female taekwondo players have won the 2014 Asian Taekwondo Championships.
 
The South Korean female team reclaimed the title from the 2012 games in Taiwan, with Kim Da-hui, Yoon Jeong-yeon and Lee A-reum bagging three gold medals.
 
China ranked second and Thailand placed third in the women’s category.
 
South Korea’s male team won three gold medals, as well as one silver and one bronze to come in second, following Iran.
 
The Asian Taekwondo Championships is held every two years. The 2014 competition took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from May 25 to the 28.
