KOICA to Invite Developing Country Students for Language Training

The South Korean state overseas development aid (ODA) agency will invite 20 students from developing countries to a Korean language program.

Students participating in the program will be from eleven developing countries, such as Morocco and Egypt, and majoring in Korean studies or language in their home countries.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) said the students will receive intensive Korean classes at Korean universities from June 2 to September 27.

During their stay, the participants will also visit a wide range of tourist attractions and industrial sites to get a glimpse into Korean culture and society.

The language training is part of KOICA’s project to share Korea’s experiences in economic development with developing countries.
