SK Group Chairman Son Kil-seung is being questioned by investigators. The prosecution is trying to confirm whether Son ordered or gave approval for a secret contract with JP Morgan that led to 93 million U.S. dollars in losses for SK Global. Prosecutors are also looking into allegations that the conglomerate cooked account books. On Wednesday, the Seoul District Public Prosecutor's Office summoned the tycoon who heads the Federation of Korean Industries, a powerful lobbying group for the nation's conglomerates.
