Seoul to Host Expat Flea Market June 15

Seoul will resume holding a foreigners' flea market at Gwanghwamun Plaza.

The Seoul city government said Wednesday that it will hold this year's second flea market on June 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Although prior registration is required, the flea market is open to all expats residing in Seoul.

The monthly flea market, which launched last year, held its first market of 2014 in March, but took a break in April as South Korea grieved over the Sewol tragedy.

The city government said it decided to resume the market out of concern over an economic slump.

The foreigners' market is held as part of the Seoul city government's Gwanghwamun Hope Sharing Flea Market.
