The Kimchi Bus will travel throughout South America to promote Korean food during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
 
The agricultural ministry and the Korean Food Foundation said Monday that the Kimchi Bus will hold kimchi tasting events for one hundred days in seven countries including Brazil, Peru and Argentina. The event will begin on Saturday.
 
During the World Cup, the bus will hold tasting events next to the football stadiums where Korea’s national team will play its matches.
 
The Kimchi Bus project involves young Korean chefs who travel the world on a bus promoting Korean food. It has traveled throughout 150 cities in 28 countries around the world since 2011.
