Korean National Football Team Loses 4-0 to Ghana

The Korean men's national football team suffered a 4-0 loss to Ghana in its final buildup to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

In the match held at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on Monday, Korea showed weak performances on both attack and defense allowing Ghana’s Jordan Ayew to score the first goal 11 minutes into the first half. Fellow striker Asamoah Gyan added another goal in the 43rd minute of the first half and Ayew continued to score two more goals in the second half.

The South Korean team now holds two consecutive losses, with the first defeat at home to Tunisia on May 28 in a final score of 1-0.

Team Korea will arrive in Brazil on Wednesday and will hold a final training camp in Foz do Iguacu. It will open the Group H competition with Russia on June 17 in Cuiaba.
