National Football Team Arrives in Brazil for World Cup

South Korea’s national football team has arrived in Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

After finishing training in Miami, Manager Hong Myung-bo and the 23-man team arrived Wednesday in Foz do Iguaçu, their base camp during the World Cup.

South Korea’s team carried out its first official training in line with FIFA regulations at Pedro Basso Stadium to prepare for its match against Russia next Wednesday.

The team trained for around an hour as some 600 fans cheered them on.

FIFA requires all teams playing in the World Cup to take part in at least one official training session before their first game.
