North Korea will send 150 athletes to the Incheon Asian Games set for October.

The organizing committee said Thursday that Pyongyang's National Olympic Committee submitted its roster for the games to the Olympic Council of Asia on Tuesday.

The North said that it will send 70 male and 80 female athletes who will compete in 14 events.

The delegation is smaller than the one sent to the 2002 Busan Asian Games, when North Korea sent 184 athletes. But the number could rise once the final roster is submitted.
