Korea Aims to Beat Aggressive Algeria at World Cup: Coach

The South Korean national soccer team’s head coach Hong Myung-bo says the team is aiming to win its match against Algeria in the FIFA World Cup.

Hong told reporters in Porto Alegre on Saturday that Team Korea will pursue a more aggressive play than the one it showed against Russia earlier on Wednesday.

Asked by Algerian reporters to evaluate the Algerian team, Hong said the team has strong strikers, is equipped with experience and speed and are likely to add strong pressure on the South Korean players.

With one day left until its match against Algeria, Team Korea is taking part in active training. The team unveiled its training for 15 minutes to the public before privately taking part in set piece training.

The South Korean players are currently tied in second place in Group H with one draw.

The match between South Korea and Algeria will be held at 4 a.m. on Monday, Korea time.
