Team Korea Conducts Final Training at Base Camp

On the brink of being eliminated from the Brazil World Cup, the Korean national football team started its training ahead of its final Group H match with Belgium.

Team Korea led by Manager Hong Myung-bo held a closed-door training for about an hour at Pedro Basso Stadium in Foz Do Iguacu, Korea’s base camp.

During the training, the team reportedly reviewed set-piece tactics and practiced shooting.

They were also reported to have played a warm up game of tag to brighten the mood after a discouraging 4-2 loss on Monday against Algeria.

The national team will fly to Sao Paulo Thursday morning and play Belgium at Arena Corinthians 5 a.m. Friday, Korea time.
