The Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) has won six prizes at this year’s Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting Awards competition.
 
At the award ceremony held in Seoul on Monday, KBS’ documentary on royal documents from the Joseon Dynasty called “Uigwe, the 8-Day Festival” won this year’s grand prix.

A documentary on Mt. Jiri, which was produced by KBS’ Jeonju branch, won an award in the local development category.
 
KBS’ special music show “Music Bank in Istanbul” received the Hallyu Award.
