The Seoul Metropolitan Government says the 12th Seoul City basketball tournament for people with intellectual disabilities will open Saturday.
 
Sponsored by the city, the annual event will take place at Seoul National University of Science and Technology with 27 participating teams.
 
Matches will be held for three groups of A, B and C, divided according to the players’ capabilities.
 
Group A is for those who are able to understand overall game rules. Group B members can pass and dribble the ball, but lack physical strength, while group C teams have little understanding of the game rules.
