Dodgers' Ryu Earns Season's 11th Win

South Korean pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers collected his eleventh win of the season on Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The left-hander allowed two runs on five hits and one walk, striking out five over seven innings as the Dodgers won 5 to 2.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Ryu "had a good fastball, a good curveball and he threw his fastball to both sides of the plate."

With eleven wins and five losses so far on the year, Ryu owns a 3.39 earned run average.

He remains on pace to become the first Korean MLB pitcher to win 20 games in a season.
