Sports Climber Kim Finishes Second at IFSC World Cup

South Korean sports climber Kim Ja-in has won a silver medal at the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Austria.

In the final of the female lead category, Kim finished second, failing to win four consecutive gold medals at the IFSC World Cup. Austria’s Magdalena Rock took the top spot.

Kim was placed first in the previous three IFSC Lead World Cup competitions this year, but failed to win the fourth.

Lead climbing is an indoor rock climbing contest that picks a winner based on which athlete climbs the highest.
