Seoul City plans to hold an exhibition to select 100 tourist souvenirs which represent the city.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Monday that it will hold a round of exhibitions at the presidential office, City Hall and on a street near the Dongdaemun Design Plaza from Tuesday through August 24.

The city said that during the displays, it will ask visitors to vote on 173 souvenirs which were chosen by experts for consideration. Each visitor will be given ten stickers with which to vote.

The city will announce in October the final 100 souvenirs by combining the results of the poll and deliberation by the experts.

The city will then grant certification marks to the 100 tourist souvenirs and actively promote them.
