Stamp Issued to Mark Pope Francis's Visit

A stamp commemorating Pope Francis’s visit to South Korea has been released.

The Korea Post said Wednesday that it issued one-point-three million commemorative stamps as the pope is set to make a five-day trip to South Korea next Thursday.

The Korea Post said the stamps were designed in consideration of the pope’s hope for reconciliation and peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The stamps feature two designs. One includes a portrait of the pope and the other depicts him with a dove on his hand.

The stamps will be on sale at post offices across the nation from Friday.
