A French musical production based on Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel “Gone With the Wind” will perform in Korea early next year.
 
The production company Show Media Group said Friday that the musical titled “Autant en Emporte le Vent” will be performed at the opera theater at the Seoul Arts Center from January 9 to February 15 next year.
 
The French musical production of the American novel involves a 50-person orchestra with roughly four-thousand costumes. Some 900-thousand attended performances in the nine months after it first opened in 2004 at the Palais des Sports in Paris.
 
Show Media Group said it will hold auditions from August 25 to 27 for Korean cast members for the musical. Those wishing to audition can download necessary forms at www.showmedia.kr, www.playdb.co.kr or www.otr.co.kr and send them to smg.audition@gmail.com.
