The German fashion trade show “Bread & Butter” will be held in Seoul in September next year.

The South Korean capital city announced Wednesday that Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon met with Karl-Heinz Müller, director and founder of the trade show on Wednesday to reach the agreement.

The two sides also decided they will cooperate in arranging venues and establishing the infrastructure for the fair.

The fashion trade fair is held every year in January and July in Berlin, attracting some 80-thousand fashion professionals. 

After the summer show in Germany, the Seoul show will take place from September 3 to 5 next year. About 400 Korean and international brands are expected to participate in the Seoul fair.
