International security conference attended by both Koreas

A working group meeting of an international security forum kicked off in Los Angeles Friday with officials from both Koreas present.
South and North Korea sent four and three-member delegations respectively, to the two-day meeting of the North Pacific working group of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP), a 21-member international security forum.
The meeting opened at the University of California, Berkeley.
Leading the South Korean delegation is Moon Ha-young, director-general in charge of policy planning at the Foreign Ministry.
The Northern delegation is led by Han Song-ryol, the North's deputy ambassador to the United Nations.
Including officials from the two Koreas, about 40 people are taking part in the meeting that will discuss recent developments on the Korean Peninsula, terrorism and other security issues.
