South Korean athletes have vowed to perform well next month at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

With 30 days remaining until the games, the organizing committee held an event on Wednesday at the National Training Center in Seoul, unveiling the training sites and holding interviews with athletes.

Gymnast Yang Hak-seon said that he will try his best to win a medal in not just vault but other gymnastic events.

Fencer Nam Hyun-hee pledged to win a gold medal, saying that although it is her fourth time to compete in games, she will play as if it was her first.

Coach Yim Young-cheol of the women’s handball team also promised gold.
