An online service has been launched allowing tickets to be booked in Korean for New York Yankees and Mets’ home games.
 
Hanintel, a broker of Korean guesthouses across the globe, said it launched the service Thursday, adding that the tickets can be purchased in real time on its Web site.
 
The tickets on the site are up to 53-point-one percent cheaper than tickets sold on the official Major League Baseball (MLB) homepage.
 
Hanintel added, however, that the degree of discounts varies, as ticket prices are subject to the games’ dates and opposing teams.
 
Hanintel said it is negotiating with baseball team owners and is looking to expand the scope of its service to all MLB teams, including the LA Dodgers and Texas Rangers, which have South Korean players.
