S. Korea to Face Japan in Women's Volleyball at Asian Games

The South Korean women's volleyball team will face its rival Japan in the group stage at the Incheon Asian Games.

At a drawing event in Incheon Thursday, South Korea was put in Group A with Thailand, India and Japan.

Meanwhile, the men's team will face Qatar, Kazakhstan and Taiwan in Group A.

In men's basketball, South Korea will compete with Jordan and one of the qualifying countries in Group D, while the women's basketball team will move straight to the quarterfinals of the tournament and face one of the qualifying teams.

The men's handball team was included in Group D with Japan, India and Taiwan, while the women are in Group A, along with China, Thailand and India.
