S. Korea Wins Asian Cup Volleyball Championship

The South Korean men’s volleyball team has won this year’s Asian Cup Volleyball Championship, claiming Asia's top volleyball prize for the first time in the competition's history.
 
Led by manager Park Ki-won, the South Korean team took the title led by key players like Jeon Kwang-in and Seo Jae-deok. South Korea swept India 3-0 in the final held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
 
South Korea won all of its matches up to the final, losing only three sets over the course of the tournament.
 
Launched in 2008, the Asian Cup Volleyball Championship is held every two years.
