Park Tae-hwan Named Pan Pacific Championships MVP

South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan has been named the most valuable player at the Pan Pacific Championships in Australia.

Park won his third Pan Pacific gold medal in the men’s 400 meter freestyle, setting a seasonal record in the process. It was the only event in which he competed, as he is focusing on the upcoming Incheon Asian Games.

Park will return from Australia on Tuesday.

The Pan Pacs are held once every four years.
