Bayer Leverkusen of Germany's Bundesliga has qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stages, thanks in part to its South Korean striker Song Heung-min, who scored goals in the team's last two Champions League matches.
 
Son scored in the 2nd minute of Leverkusen's 4-0 victory over FC Copenhagen of Denmark in the second leg of a playoff match on Wednesday. He had also scored in the first leg of the playoff one week earlier, which Bayer won 3-2.

With the victory, the team will join 31 other clubs in the group stage of the tournament, with the group to be assigned at the draw ceremony scheduled for Thursday in Monaco.
