UN special envoy says UN will continue giving aid to North Korea

Morris Strong, the special envoy to the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, said Sunday that the United Nations would continue giving aid to North Korea over the following several months.

The UN special envoy, who is expected to visit Pyongyang on March 18th to mediate the deadlocked North Korean nuclear issues, told reporters that the United States is to provide the North with 40,000 tons of food grain.
