The main stadium of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games has earned international certification for its running track.

The Incheon city government on Thursday, says the track on which all track and field competitions will be held, has earned the highest rating by International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).

Regarding questions that the main stadium's track did not use products certified by the IAAF, Incheon City responded earlier that it did indeed use certified products, presenting their quality inspection results and customs records.

Meanwhile, construction of the main stadium has been included in the government-supported projects as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved the revised plan of the Incheon Asian Games project.
