KBS to Hold Joint Wedding for Multicultural and N. Korean Defector Couples

KBS is planning to hold a joint wedding for multicultural and North Korean defector couples free of charge at the KBS hall.

The ceremony will take place on November 9 for those who have been unable to hold their own wedding ceremonies.

KBS will select 50 couples to participate in the ceremony titled “2014 Happy Wedding,” which will be part of its social contribution projects.

The public broadcaster will also fund a two-day family trip for the participants following the wedding.

Those who wish to take part in the program must submit an application by October 17. KBS will select the participants based on their personal stories, financial situations, and period of living together, among other factors.
