Kim Jun-hong Wins Rapid Fire Pistol at World Championship

Kim Jun-hong won a gold medal Sunday at the 25-meter rapid fire pistol men’s final at the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championship in Granada, Spain.
 
The 23-year-old South Korean shot 33 points over runner-up Oliver Geis from Germany, who scored 30 points.
 
Sunday marks the first time a Korean male shooter has won a medal in the rapid fire pistol event at the ISSF World Championship.
 
The win earned Kim a spot at the next Summer Olympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
