A cartoon exhibition on the victims of Japan’s wartime sexual slavery will open in the United States and China.

The Korea Manhwa Contents Agency said Monday that it will hold the exhibition entitled “The Flower That Doesn't Wilt” in Los Angeles from September 18 through 21 and Guangzhou, China from September 27 through October 15.

The exhibition attracted 17-thousand visitors at the Angouleme International Comics Festival in France in January, raising global awareness of the issue of Japan's wartime sex slavery.
