S. Korea Wins Gold in Fencing Team Events, Men's Judo Team Events

South Korea won gold medals in the men's epee and the women's sabre fencing team events at the Incheon Asian Games on Tuesday.
 
The men's squad, comprised of members Jung Jin-sun, Park Kyoung-doo, Park Sang-young and Kweon Young-jun, defeated Japan 25 to 21, giving South Korea its third straight Asiad gold in this event.
 
The women's sabre fencing team consisting of Kim Ji-yeon, Lee Ra-jin Yoon Ji-su and Hwang Seon-a beat the Chinese squad 45 to 41.

The South Korean judo squad also brought home a gold medal in the first-ever men's team event at the Asian Games.

The team of Kim Jae-bum, Bang Gui-man, Kim Sung-min, Choi Gwang-hyeon and Lee Kyu-won beat Kazakhstan 4-1 in the men's team final, raising South Korea's judo gold medal tally to five.

South Korean equestrian ace Hwang Young-shik won the gold medal in the individual dressage event, winning two gold medals in the Asiad for the second time straight. South Korea's Kim Dong-seon took silver.
 
Veteran cyclist Cho Ho-sung won silver in the men's omnium, a combination of short- and long-distance races. Japan's Eiya Hashimoto won gold.
