Swimmer Park Tae-hwan Wins Silver in 100-meter Freestyle

South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan won a silver in the men’s 100-meter freestyle event at the Incheon Asian Games.

Park finished behind China’s Ning Zetao with a time of 48-point-75 seconds at the event’s final at the Munhak Park Tae-hwan Aquatics Center in Incheon, winning his fifth medal in the 2014 Asiad and 19th overall.

Park has now tied the record for the most number of Asian Games medals won by a South Korean athlete.

South Korea also added medals in rowing and shooting on Thursday, ranking second in the total medal tally with 28 gold, 31 silver and 29 bronze.
