The police are searching for some Asian Games athletes and a reporter who have gone missing.
The Incheon District Police announced Friday that three athletes from Nepal and one reporter from Pakistan have disappeared and could not be contacted.
The Nepalese athletes, two Wu Shu players and a Sepak Takraw player are known to have left the athletes village on Wednesday, right before Team Nepal was set to leave for home.
The missing Pakistani cameraman went missing on the 19th, the opening day of the Asiad. He was scheduled to leave for home on the 24th, but was confirmed not to have boarded the plane.
The police said the athletes are not in the country illegally as their visas are valid until October 19. The reporter's passport is valid until the end of October. The police will advise them to leave the country as soon as it finds their whereabouts.
During the 2002 Busan Asian Games, 16 members of the foreign delegations left the athletes' village to go into hiding.
