South Korea added three gold medals in archery on the tenth day of the Incheon Asian Games on Sunday.
In the women’s team recurve final, Chang Hye-jin, Jung Dasomi and Lee Tuk-young dominated China 6-0 to win South Korea's fifth straight Asiad gold in the women’s team recurve event since 1998.
Later in the day, Jung won another gold as she and Chang competed in the women’s individual recurve final.
In the men's individual recurve final, Oh Jun-hyek won South Korea's third consecutive Asiad title, defeating China's Yong Zhiwei 6-4.
South Korea also captured a bronze medal in the men’s team event.
In women’s individual golf, Park Gyeol grabbed a gold medal hitting 19-under.
Cyclist Jang Kyung-gu won the gold medal in the men's road race after clocking in at 4:07:52.
South Korea also added a gold and a bronze medal in the women’s trios bowling event.
Lee Na-young, Jung Da-wun and Son Yun-hee scored a combined three-thousand-896 points to beat the Singaporean team. Another South Korean team of Lee Yeong-seung, Jeon Eun-hee and Kim Jin-sun picked up the bronze medal with three thousand-692 points.
The nation took bronze medals in both the men’s and women’s 20-kilometer race walk.
Kim Hyun-sub came in third in the men's 20-kilometer race walk with a time of 1:21:37, while Jeon Yeong-eun also picked up the bronze in the women's event.
South Korea’s leading rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae returned from the world championships in Turkey on Sunday morning and started training to win a medal at the Asian Games.
Also on Sunday, South Korea’s football team beat Japan 1-0, securing a place in the men's semifinals and advancing to play against Thailand on Tuesday.
