South Korea’s baseball team made a dramatic comeback in the eighth inning to beat Taiwan 6-3 in Sunday’s final to win a gold medal at the Incheon Asian Games.
 
Team Korea has now won the baseball tournament in consecutive Asian games, after also winning in Guangzhou in 2010, where it also defeated Taiwan by a score of 9-3.  

Japan defeated China 10-0 in the bronze medal match, held prior to the final. 

Since baseball was first contested at the Asian Games in 1994, the South Korean team has won the gold medal 4 times.
