N. Korea Continues Sharp Criticism on Park's UN Speech

North Korea has strongly criticized President Park Geun-hye’s speech last week at the U.N. General Assembly.

The Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the North’s ruling Worker’s Party, denounced Park’s UN speech in a commentary on Sunday.

The commentary said that the speech is causing a catastrophe and threatened that Park and her gang will certainly pay for declaring confrontation.

North Korea also defended its nuclear development program as a right to self-defense. It claimed that the nuclear issue wouldn't even exist if the U.S. and South Korea’s puppet regime hadn't threatened and provoked the North with nuclear weapons.

The North blasted Park’s UN speech Friday and Saturday in statements by the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland and the National Defense Commission.
