S. Korea Grabs 1st Asiad Gold in Women's Modern Pentatholon Team Event

With just two days remaining until the close of the Incheon Asian Games, South Korea grabbed its first Asiad gold in the women's modern pentathlon team event on Thursday.
 
The team made up of Yang Soo-jin, Jeong Mi-na, Choi Min-ji and Kim Sun-woo scored five-thousand-120 points, defeating Japan’s total of four-thousand-760 points.

The country also moved to the finals in the men's and women's regu events in sepaktakraw.
 
In the semifinal games held at Bucheon Gymnasium, the men's team beat Myanmar 2-1, while the women's team also advanced with a 2-1 win against China.
