North Korean media reported on Saturday that a high ranking delegation led by Hwang Pyong-so, the North's military's top political officer, left Pyongyang for the closing ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games.

The North's Central News Agency and Pyongyang Broadcasting Station both reported that the group, which included Choe Ryong-hae and Kim Yang-gon, left on an airplane at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The high ranking delegation is set to return to North Korea around 10 p.m. on Saturday after meeting with the North Korean athletes taking part in the Asian Games and attending the closing ceremony.
