'N. Korean Leader Conveyed Greetings to Park, Reportedly No Health Problems'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is confirmed to have conveyed greetings to President Park Geun-hye through the North Korean delegation who visited the South Saturday to attend the Asian Games' closing ceremony.

Appearing on a KBS TV program Sunday morning, Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae said that Hwang Pyong-so, director of the North Korean People's Army General Political Bureau, conveyed brief greetings from Kim during Saturday's luncheon.

Ryoo also said that when asked about the leader's health condition, Kim Yang-gon, head of the ruling Workers' Party's United Front Department, said there was no problem with Kim's health.

The North Korean leader has not made a public appearance for more than a month, fanning speculations over his health.
