Bae Sang-moon Wins PGA Season-Opener

Bae Sang-moon became the first ever South Korean golfer to win a season-opener on the U.S. PGA Tour.

Despite shooting a one-over par 73 in the fourth round of the Frys.com Open in Napa, California on Sunday, Bae finished the opener at 15-under, beating Australia’s Steven Bowditch by two strokes.

It is the 28-year-old’s second PGA victory after winning the Byron Nelson Championship in May of 2013. He joins Choi Kyoung-joo and Yang Yong-eun as the only South Koreans with at least two PGA wins.
