South Korean Child Prodigy Plays Mozart's Violin in Busan

An eight-year-old South Korean prodigy played a violin on Wednesday that was once played by Mozart.

Violinist Ko So-hyun played the 279-year-old instrument during the Busan metropolitan government’s reception for the delegation from the Austrian province of Salzburg.

Half the size of a normal violin, the instrument was made in 1735. Mozart’s sister kept the violin until 1820 which is now owned by Mozarteum, a Salzburg-located research institute of the Austrian musician.
